He married Anna Lou Bagwell, daughter of John Leander Bagwell and Sarah Frances Elizabeth Turner, on 23 December 1891 at Choctaw County, Mississippi. Daniel Herbert Cork died on 21 April 1909 in Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 35.

     William Hester Bagwell was also known as Hester Bagwell. He was born on 9 January 1903. He was the son of Charlie Alexander Bagwell and Nina Bell Love. William Hester Bagwell married Louise Bennett after 1925. William Hester Bagwell died on 29 August 1967 at age 64
Hester Bagwell dies August 29 of heart attack

Hester Bagwell, Winona cotton buyer and chairman of the Montgomery County Selective Service board, died at his home in Winona last week of an apparent heart attack. He was 64 years old.

A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Bagwell was a World War II veteran, a member of the American Legion, a Mason, and a member of First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 30, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Winona, with the Revs. John Green and John A Wade officiating.

Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Bennett Bagwell, Winona; five brothers, Lloyd of Batesville, Curtis of Memphis, Kenneth of Parchman, Jim of West Memphis, Ark., Leonard of Buchanan, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Rosalee Braswell, Memphis, and Mrs. Roy Stovall, Baton Rouge, La; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Harry Simmons, Bobby Hemphill, George E. McDougal, Ellis Hart, Buster Swindoll, and Buddy Shelton.

Kenneth Leonard Bagwell died on 27 October 1997 at age 90.¹ He was buried at Drew Cemetery, Drew, Sunflower County, Mississippi.¹

     Jim Bagwell was born circa 1912 in Mississippi. He was the son of Charlie Alexander Bagwell and Nina Bell Love. Jim Bagwell died before 2003.

     Rosalee Bagwell was born on 5 December 1912 in Kilmichael, Montgomery County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Charlie Alexander Bagwell and Nina Bell Love. As of after 1930,her married name was Braswell. Rosalee Bagwell married Dennon Chesley Braswell after 1930. Rosalee Bagwell died on 11 August 2003 at age 90

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Braswell was preceded in death by her husband Dennon Chesley Braswell, son Denny Braswell, grandson, Gary Christopher Ferguson, son-in-law, H. Nelson Lunn; eight brothers Lloyd Love, C. A. Hester, Curtis, Kenneth Leonard and Jim Bagwell and a sister, Margarite Stovall.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nina Lunn of Cookeville, Fay & Gary Ferguson of Horseshoe Bay, TX and Sherry Lynn & Lamar Ross of Westerville, OH. Four grandchildren Lorie Lunn & Sydney Lunn both of Nashville, Cheryl & Doug Abbott of Bowling Green, OH, Lamar Ross III and Deanna of Westerville, OH; two great-grandchildren, Jakob Ross, and Chelsie.
She was buried at Oakwood Cemtery, Winona, Montgomery County, Mississippi.

Died Saturday, Dec. 24, 1994, at 10 p.m. at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 79 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd., at Cora Drive, 1 p.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Bill Burrows. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a son, Dan R. Stovall; a sister, Rosa Lee Braswell; three brothers, Kenneth, Jim and Curtis Bagwell; and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, RoyStovall; and a daughter, Rita Stovall. She was a member of Lanier Baptist Church, Memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 8322 One Calais Ave., Baton Rouge.

     AMM2 Charles Alexander Bagwell Jr. was born on 25 November 1916 in Kimichael, Montgomery County, Mississippi. He was the son of Charlie Alexander Bagwell and Nina Bell Love. He served as a Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class in the US Navy during World War II (USS Mcfarland, location Solomon Islands) - Service Number: 2743504. He was a Purple Heart recipient.¹ AMM2 Charles Alexander Bagwell Jr. died on 17 October 1942 at age 25 and was killed in action. Another source listed his date of death as October 16, 1942. He was serving aboard the USS McFarland (USS McFarland (DD-237/AVD-14) was a Clemson-class destroyer) located in the Solomon Islands.

On 16 October, McFarland was unloading cargo and embarking wounded personnel in Lunga Roads when she was attacked by nine dive bombers. While the first seven scored no hits, the eighth hit a gasoline barge in tow alongside the tender’s starboard quarter. The blazing barge was cut loose as the ninth plane made its run. At least one bomb hit McFarland's stern, knocking out her rudder and steering engine. Her crew shot down one plane, but lost eleven of its members in the fight; five killed, six missing, with an additional 12 critically wounded. For this action, the ship was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation.¹ He was buried at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, National Capital, Philippines.¹

     James Burns Bagwell was also known as Jim B. Bagwell.¹ He was born on 12 November 1913 in Choctaw County, Mississippi.¹ He was the son of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman. James Burns Bagwell married Anne Ruth Robinson after 1935.² James Burns Bagwell died on 5 August 1997 at age 83.¹ He was buried at Bluff Springs Cemetery, Choctaw County, Mississippi.¹

     Clara Louise Bagwell was born on 20 August 1904 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman. As of after 1915,her married name was Wall. Clara Louise Bagwell married Sydney Clayton Wall after 1915. As of after 1920,her married name was Graves. Clara Louise Bagwell married Henry Lewis Graves after 1920. Clara Louise Bagwell died on 5 April 2008 in Starkville, Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 103.

     Sydney Clayton Wall was born on 9 March 1897 in Jasper County, Mississippi. He married Clara Louise Bagwell, daughter of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman, after 1915. Sydney Clayton Wall died on 4 August 1969 in Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 72.

     Henry Lewis Graves was born on 20 January 1892 in Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi. He married Clara Louise Bagwell, daughter of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman, after 1920. Henry Lewis Graves died on 18 October 1948 in Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 56.

     Lamar C. Jones was born on 11 February 1896 in Mississippi. He married Ora Earline Bagwell, daughter of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman, on 20 December 1919. Lamar C. Jones died on 27 October 1945 in Indianola, Sunflower County, Mississippi, at age 49.

     Isaac L. Baker was born on 21 September 1891 in Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi. He married Ina Willard Bagwell, daughter of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman, after 1905. Isaac L. Baker died in March 1963 at age 71.

     Salllie Leota Fisackerly was born on 19 November 1900 in Choctaw County, Mississippi.¹ As of before 1924,her married name was Bagwell. She married William Hays Bagwell, son of William Wesley Bagwell and Emma Darthula Coleman, before 1924. Salllie Leota Fisackerly died on 15 May 1974 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, at age 73.¹ She was buried at Bluff Springs Cemetery, Choctaw County, Mississippi.¹

     Hughie Earl Bagwell was also known as Earl Bagwell.¹ He was born on 31 December 1931 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. He was the son of William Hays Bagwell and Salllie Leota Fisackerly. Hughie Earl Bagwell married Mary Joi W. after 1950.² Hughie Earl Bagwell died on 7 January 1992 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, at age 60. He was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.¹

     Stacey Newburn Bagwell was born on 7 January 1934. She was the daughter of William Hays Bagwell and Salllie Leota Fisackerly. Stacey Newburn Bagwell died on 11 April 1997 in Tennessee at age 63.

     Callie Hamilton was also known as Polona Caledonia "Callie" Hamilton. She was born on 8 April 1868.¹ As of 29 October 1884,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married John Alexander Bagwell, son of Micajah C. Bagwell and Nancy Evelyn Whitmire, on 29 October 1884 at Hall County, Georgia.¹ Callie Hamilton died on 3 January 1919 at age 50.¹ She was buried at Buchanan City Cemetery, Buchanan, Haralson County, Georgia.¹
