Darlene Sharon Dawn Bagwell 85, of Rockford, IL., passed away Sunday September 6th at Serenity Hospice, Oregon, IL. Darlene was born 26th of January 1935 to Morris and Mildred Hansey. Darlene is survived by daughters Lynn Gregersen (Roy) and Laurie Walt (Wil). Grandchildren Lacy Small (Brandon), Beth Johnson (Jason) and Ben Walt (Luke), and six great grandchildren. Darlene also had a sweet longtime companion Baby and the LaFranca family. Darlene is predeceased by Parents and sisters Margie, Peggy, Joyce, Gloria and daughter Lisa. Elizabeth Bagwell Neal, 72, wife of Wallace “Bud” Cleveland Neal, of 420 Neal Road, Seneca, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Cottingham Hospice House.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Neal was the daughter of the late Marvin Thomas and Zelma Lucille Bryant Bagwell. She retired from the Waffle House and attended High Falls Church of God. Mrs. Neal loved flowers, butterflies and her favorite color was green.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Neal is survived by her son: Steven Capell (Susan); step-sons: Wallace Buddy Neal (Lisa) and Anthony Neal; step-daughters: Judy Brickey and Sheryl White; brothers: Jimmy Bagwell (Pat) and Roger Bagwell; and sister: Edna Cobb (Robert).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her brothers: Marvin and David Bagwell; and step-daughter: Deborah Galloway.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 21, 2023, at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery.
