     Palmer Ray Goff was born on 5 May 1908 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Amos Fletcher Goff and Mattie Elizabeth Roney. Palmer Ray Goff married Ray Bob Brannon after 1927. Palmer Ray Goff died on 25 August 2002 at age 94. She was buried at Taylor Assembly of God Cemetery, Taylor, Houston County, Alabama.

     Thelma Bell Goff was born on 25 December 1918 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Amos Fletcher Goff and Mattie Elizabeth Roney. As of after 1935,her married name was Chancey. Thelma Bell Goff married Lemuel Chancey after 1935. Thelma Bell Goff died on 4 February 2006 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 87.

     Lemuel Chancey was born on 20 December 1913 in Alabama. He married Thelma Bell Goff, daughter of Amos Fletcher Goff and Mattie Elizabeth Roney, after 1935. Lemuel Chancey died on 22 September 1995 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 81.

     Betty Julia Parker was also known as Betty Jean McKinley. She was born on 24 March 1929. As of 19 August 1995,her married name was Bagwell. Mrs. Betty McKinley Bagwell, of Social Circle, passed away March 21, 2013, at the age of 83. She moved to Social Circle in 1965 from Decatur. She worked as a cashier for Food Giant Grocery Store and retired after 19 years of service. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of Alcovy United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and attended the Young at Heart Sunday School Class. At Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Bagwell participated in senior activities with the Mt. Pleasant Activists. She was also a member of Priceless Antiques. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bagwell; parents, James Robert and Bertha (Chapman) Parker; and sisters, Mary Nell Garner, Doris Ragan, Pat Langford.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean "B.J." and Tony Hawkins of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, James "Elmo" and Shirley Bagwell of Clarkston; 5 grandchildren, Jeff Hawkins, Jason Hawkins, Jody Hawkins, Sharlynn Davis, Joe Bagwell; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bagwell will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Teresa Lilja officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, March 23, from 6:00-9:00 PM.
She was buried at Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington, Newton County, Georgia.

     Sarah D. Miller was born on 1 June 1910 in Enterprise, Coffee County, Alabama. As of before 1929,her married name was Goff. She married William Maxwell Goff, son of William Marvin Goff and Mattie Mae Russ, before 1929. Sarah D. Miller died on 8 April 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at age 75.

     Martha F. Goff is the daughter of William Maxwell Goff and Sarah D. Miller.

     Harrison Garey Bagwell Jr. was born on 24 May 1937 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Louisiana.¹ He was the son of Harrison Garey Bagwell and June Sue Ross.¹ He served in the US Navy during Vietnam from from 15 December 1965 to 4 December 1966 and then from 28 Aug 1967 to 26 Jun 1969.¹ Harrison Garey Bagwell Jr. died on 5 April 1985 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at age 47.¹ He was buried at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Mausoleum, Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.¹

AMORY – Thomas Elbert Fines, 81, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Born April 13, 1929, in Townley, Ala., he was the son of the late Euple and Sarah Louise Bagwell Fines. He graduated from Jasper High School and Itawamba Community College. He married Peggy Ann Miller Fines in 1953; she died in 1992. He married Shirley Ann Ausbon in 1994. He owned and operated Fines Cleaners in Amory for 20 years and was an agent with the Frisco/BNSF Railroad for 46 years before retiring. He was a member of the 20+ Frisco Club and the NRA. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old westerns and playing solitaire.

Services were Tuesday, June 29, at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Sammy Washburn and Bro. Charles Coggins officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Fines of Amory; three sons, Thomas David Fines of Tupelo, Randy Morgan of Fulton and Lee Morgan of Amory; one daughter, Tracey Bean of Shannon; five grandchildren, Allison Langford (Chris), Corey Fines (Jennifer), Ryan and Zakkery Bean, and Devon Putney; and three great-grandchildren, Kensli and Rylee Langford, and Mason Bean.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; and a half sister, Jackie Alba.

Pallbearers were Leamon Edgeworth, Charles Langley, Tom Crook, Tim Walters, Corey Fines, Kerry Cole and Paul Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Dick Millender, Douglas Crook, Pete Randle, Jr. Crook, Joe Suggs, Peanut Estes, coffee buddies at Phil's Place; Oak Tree and BNSF employees; and Dr. Bill Rogers.

Edward was born on December 8, 1924 to John Benson and Leona Mae (Westmoreland) Bagwell in Gorman, Texas. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He married Verna Mae Patterson. Edward was of the Baptist faith, he was retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company, he was an avid history buff and he was a certified Hamm Radio Operator.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Tucker and husband Charles of Whitesboro; a son, Gene Bagwell and wife Susan of San Marcos; two granddaughters, Sonja Tucker Bilderback and husband Tom of Whitesboro and Jennifer Tucker Towery and husband Michael of Pottsboro; great-grandchildren, Preslie Bilderback of Whitesboro, Zachary Withrow of McKinney, Gunner Withrow of Pottsboro and Faith Jordan of Pottsboro; a friend, Alva Bagwell Walker of Whitesboro and his dog, Precious.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Bagwell; parents, John and Leona Bagwell and wife, Verna Bagwell.
