     Bryant O'Neal Bagwell is the son of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor. Bryant O'Neal Bagwell married Joyce Ann Hinmon on 6 June 1988 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     Tracy Bagwell is the son of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor.

     Marguerite Bagwell is the daughter of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor.

     Margaret Ann Bagwell is the daughter of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor.

     Mary Bagwell is the daughter of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor.

     Tanisha Bagwell is the daughter of Charles Edward Bagwell and Gladys Victoria Taylor.

     Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell was born on 31 August 1932. He was the son of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson. He served as a CPL in the US Army during the Korean War. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell married Dorothy Marie Finney before 1956. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell married Sherri Len Fletcher on 12 March 1993 at Accomack County, Virginia. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell died on 8 January 2000 in Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Virginia, at age 67. He was buried on 15 January 2000 at Mount Nebo Church Cemetery, Mount Nebo, Accomack County, Virginia. He and Sherri Len Fletcher were divorced on 25 February 2010 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     Luetta Bagwell is the daughter of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson. Luetta Bagwell married Jerry J. Pritchett after 1953.

     Annie Sue Bagwell is the daughter of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson.

     John Lee Bagwell was born on 16 December 1938 in Accomack County, Virginia. He was the son of George Plez Bagwell and Roberta Kellam. John Lee Bagwell married Sandra Uncles after 1956. John Lee Bagwell died on 28 February 2009 in Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland, at age 70.

     Joseph Hughes married Ida Mae Bagwell, daughter of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson, after 1938.

     Mary Bagwell is the daughter of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson.

     Sherri Len Fletcher married Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell, son of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson, on 12 March 1993 at Accomack County, Virginia. Sherri Len Fletcher and Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell were divorced on 25 February 2010 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     Dorothy Marie Finney married Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell, son of George Plez Bagwell and Racilla Robinson, before 1956.

     Michael Anthony Bagwell is the son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. Michael Anthony Bagwell married Keva Desiree Taylor on 25 August 1983.

     Keva Desiree Taylor married Michael Anthony Bagwell, son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney, on 25 August 1983.

     Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell was born on 21 August 1956 in Onancock, Virginia. He was the son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell married Connie Marie Reid on 21 August 1976. Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell and Connie Marie Reid were divorced on 6 September 1988 at Accomack County, Virginia. Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell married Mary Edwards after 1989. Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell died on 28 June 2015 in Parksley, Virginia, at age 58. He was buried on 4 July 2015 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Onancock, Virginia.

     Mary Edwards married Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell, son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney, after 1989.

     Connie Marie Reid married Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell, son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney, on 21 August 1976. Connie Marie Reid and Kevin Nathaniel Bagwell were divorced on 6 September 1988 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     Beverly Ann Bagwell is the daughter of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. Beverly Ann Bagwell married Bruce Eugene Bagwell, son of Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr. and Rosetta Griffin, on 23 June 1987 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     Juanita Bagwell is the daughter of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. Juanita Bagwell married (?) Yarrell after 1980.

     Tobitha Bagwell is the daughter of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. Tobitha Bagwell married (?) Lee after 1980.

     Robert Bagwell is the son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney.

     Donald Bagwell is the son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney.

     Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell Jr. was born on 31 August 1965 in Nassawadox, Northampton County, Virginia. He was the son of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell Jr. died on 19 February 2017 in Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Virginia, at age 51.

     (?) Mitchell married Marion Elizabeth Bagwell, son of Julius Raymond Bagwell and Mary Magdalene Stevens, after 1957.

     Phillip Drummond Bagwell was born on 27 March 1934 in Accomack County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Coley Fitzhugh Bagwell and Beatrice Drummond.¹ Phillip Drummond Bagwell appeared on the 1950 United States Federal Census for Lee, Accomack County, Virginia, enumerated on 11 April 1950. He married Rosa Lee Walker on 1 May 1960 at Maryland. Phillip Drummond Bagwell lived on 22 October 1986 in Melfa, Accomack County, Virginia. He died on 30 March 2024 in Accomack County, Virginia, at age 90


Phillip Drummond Bagwell was born on March 27, 1934, in Accomack County, Virginia, to Coley and Beatrice Bagwell. He was called to eternal rest Saturday, March 30, 2024, while at home with loved ones by his side.

Phillip was educated in the Accomack County Public School system. He accepted Christ and joined Gaskins Chapel AME Church at a young age. He proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged earning the Good Conduct medal.

Phillip married the love of his life, Rosa Walker, on May 1, 1960, in Maryland. They shared many years of marital bliss and five children together. Phillip and Rosa loved their family and opened their home to their sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews as a haven for many holiday gatherings and summer vacations.

Phillip was well respected and liked in his community. He worked at Boggs Water and Sewage for more than 40 years to support his family. He was social with everyone whether he knew them or not. Phillip enjoyed going to the racetrack in Ocean Downs and relaxing in his truck at Doughty’s Market. Even though we've lost a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, God has gained an angel.

Phillip was predeceased by his parents, Coley and Beatrice Bagwell; wife, Rosa Bagwell; siblings, Betty Upshur and Roscoe Bagwell.

Phillip is survived by his two sons and three daughters, Edward Walker of Onancock, VA, Dianne Strand (Larry) of Bloxom, VA, Phillip Bagwell Sr. of Yale, VA, Elsie Giddens of Onancock, VA, and Marian Bagwell-Moore (Kevin) of Fayetteville, NC.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Deametrious Bagwell, Sr. (Toni), LaTanya Major (Earl), April Bagwell, Larry Strand, Jr., Phillip Bagwell, Jr., Kristopher Bagwell, LaDonna Griffin (Joshua), Devion Richardson, Alexis Moore, and Asa Moore; his great-grandchildren, Devin Wesells, Jasmine Bagwell, Kevarius Howard, Deametrious Bagwell, Jr., Isaiah Bagwell, MóNee Strand, Dorien Bagwell, Arielle Bagwell-Smith, Elizabeth Griffin, and Jeremiah Griffin; and two great, great-grandchildren, Devion Wesells and Keylan Howard.

Memories of Phillip’s childhood ages will continue to be shared by his brothers and sisters, Pauline Williams of Dallas, TX, Rosetta Smith of Philadelphia, PA, Herbert Bagwell of Philadelphia, PA, and Annie Boston of Catonsville, MD.

Laughter and special memories will always be remembered by his three sisters-in-law, Daisy Fletcher, Juanita Hamilton, and Ruth Davis, all of Paterson, NJ; daughter-in-law, Millie Bagwell; niece, Sheila Walker; special friends, Bernice White, Pete Toppin, George Ames, and George Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
