Gladys V. Taylor Bagwell, 68, wife of the late Charlie Bagwell Sr. and a resident of Melfa, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox. Born in Onancock, (Mt. Nebo), Mrs. Bagwell was the daughter of the late Addie Madre and Walter Taylor Sr. She was a laborer and a member of Gaskins Chapel A.M.E. Church, Savageville. A funeral service was held at Gaskins Chapel A.M.E. Church on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Oretha Cross officiated. Interment was in Gaskins Chapel Cemetery, Savageville. Mrs. Bagwell is survived by sons, Michael, Gregory, Wayne, Charlie Jr., Bryant and Tracy Bagwell; daughters, Marguerite Weeks, Margaret Ann Davis, Mary and Tanisha Bagwell; brothers, Wayne and Walter Taylor Jr; sisters, Barbara Tindley, Marie Garris, Judy Sturgis, Norma Drummond, Asia Nock and Brenda Walker; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.

Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell married Dorothy Marie Finney before 1956. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell married Sherri Len Fletcher on 12 March 1993 at Accomack County, Virginia. Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell died on 8 January 2000 in Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Virginia, at age 67. He was buried on 15 January 2000 at Mount Nebo Church Cemetery, Mount Nebo, Accomack County, Virginia. He and Sherri Len Fletcher were divorced on 25 February 2010 at Accomack County, Virginia.
