It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nina Faye Bagwell (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Brook Simmons and Maude Connor Simmons; and her siblings, Christine Lunsford (Jack), Bud Simmons Eunice (Marie) and Ray Simmons.

She is survived by : her husband Joe Hamilton Bagwell; her sons, Bruce and Brian Bagwell; her brother Ben Simmons (Oakie); and her nephew Jackie Lunsford (Ann). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and several close friends.

A burial will be held on Sunday, April 10th 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Flint Hill Cemetery (Weaverville, NC 28787).

     Rogers Herbert Bagwell was born on 16 September 1947 in Virginia. He was the son of William Henry Bagwell and Constance Otelia Allen. Rogers Herbert Bagwell married Otelia Mae Drummond on 4 July 1970 at Accomack County, Virginia. Rogers Herbert Bagwell died on 27 June 1971 in Tasley, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 23 of drowning. He was buried at Star East Cemetery, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Otelia Mae Drummond married Rogers Herbert Bagwell, son of William Henry Bagwell and Constance Otelia Allen, on 4 July 1970 at Accomack County, Virginia.

     As of after 1956,her married name was Bagwell. Sandra Uncles married John Lee Bagwell, son of George Plez Bagwell and Roberta Kellam, after 1956. Sandra Uncles died on 24 June 1996 in Baltimore, Maryland.
