Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Mike at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday May 26 from 3-7 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home on Friday May 27 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park.

Born in Elizabeth, Mike was a graduate of Roselle Park High School, where he was a talented football player. He worked at Shop-Rite in various locations for many years, where he started as a butcher and worked his way up to management. He most recently worked for Tyson Foods as a Senior Sales Representative. Mike was a hard worker and a dedicated father. He was a loyal friend to many, and will be sorely missed.

Mike was the loving son of the late Ronnie Bagwell and Kimberly Anderson. He was the beloved partner of Danielle Slattery; proud father of Dylan Michael Bagwell and Lily Rose Bagwell. He is also survived by grandmother Carol Englemann, his uncle and aunt Ben and Bonnie Hickey, uncle Wayne and cousins Brian and Jimmy Garrison. He was buried on 27 May 2022 at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, Union County, New Jersey.

     Dylan Michael Bagwell is the son of Michael Joseph Bagwell.

     Lily Rose Bagwell is the daughter of Michael Joseph Bagwell.

     John Michael Bagwell is the son of Patrica Marie Thatcher.

     Patrica Marie Thatcher was born on 30 August 1972 in Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigan. She died on 28 January 2016 in Iva, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 43


Patricia Marie Thatcher Bagwell, age 43, passed away on January 28th, 2016.

Born in Muskegon, MI on August 30th, 1972, she is the daughter of Stanley Dewayne and Marie Harris Thatcher of Iva, SC. She worked for many years as a home care giver.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, John Michael Bagwell of Iva, SC; step-sons, Raymond Neil Bagwell of Pendleton, SC and Brandon Ray Bagwell of Anderson, SC; brothers, Clyde Dewayne Thatcher of Iva, SC, Charles Ugene Thatcher of Anderson, SC and Manuel Caleb Thatcher and his wife Leigh of Starr, SC; nieces, Kelsey Marie Smith of Iva, SC, McKayla Thatcher of Anderson, SC and Stella Kate Thatcher of Starr, SC; and a grandson, John Wayne Bagwell.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul Ugene and Bertie Harris; paternal grandparents, Dewitt and Maybrean Thatcher; uncles, Clyde Benjamin Thatcher and Charles Dewitt Thatcher; an aunt, Patricia Ann Best; a niece Clarista Jade Mann; and nephews, Mark Benjamin Thatcher and Brandon Collins.

Interment: Iva City Cemetery. She was buried at Iva City Cemetery, Iva, Anderson County, South Carolina.

Bagwell and Otha Mae Northington.¹ Robert Wayne Bagwell died on 21 December 1963 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 19 of a gunshot wound to the left chest.¹ He was buried on 26 December 1963 at Edgefield Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹
