     George Dock Goff was born on 10 June 1893 in Raccoon, Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of William M. Goff and Isabelle Ball. George Dock Goff married Claudia Ethel Phillips in 1915. George Dock Goff married Elizabeth Young in 1945. George Dock Goff died on 17 October 1986 in Iaegar, McDowell County, West Virginia, at age 93. He was buried at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Claudia Ethel Phillips was born in 1896. As of 1915,her married name was Goff. She married George Dock Goff, son of William M. Goff and Isabelle Ball, in 1915. Claudia Ethel Phillips died in 1970. She was buried at East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee.

Goff and Isabelle Ball, in 1945. Elizabeth Young died on 9 May 1990 in Iaegar, McDowell County, West Virginia, at age 83. She was buried at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Christine Goff was born on 27 March 1933 in Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of George Dock Goff and Elizabeth Young. As of after 1951,her married name was Faust. Christine Goff married Ernest Dalton Faust after 1951. Christine Goff died on 11 October 2007 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee, at age 74. She was buried at East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee.

     Ernest Dalton Faust was born on 2 January 1926 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee. He married Christine Goff, daughter of George Dock Goff and Elizabeth Young, after 1951. Ernest Dalton Faust was buried on 15 October 2017 at East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee. He died on 15 October 2017 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee, at age 91.

     James William Goff was born on 13 May 1945 in Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of George Dock Goff and Elizabeth Young. James William Goff died on 9 May 2015 in Iaegar, McDowell County, West Virginia, at age 69


James William "Jim" Goff, 69, of Iaeger, WV, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015.

Jim was born May 13, 1945 a son of the late George Goff (Deceased) and Elizabeth Young-Goff (Deceased). He graduated from Iaeger High School in 1963 and continued on to receive degrees in Science, Chemistry and Physics from Bluefield State College in 1971. He also obtained a Master's Degree in Administration in 1973 from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. Jim taught Science at Iaeger Junior High School for many years along with owning a Montgomery Wards store in Iaeger. He also served as Iaeger's mayor during the early 90s.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Duane Young Goff (Deceased).

Jim is survived by his only child, Brad Goff, a daughter in law, Brandi Goff, and a grandson, Mason Goff all from Richmond, VA; and one sister Erma Goff-Hall from Kingsport, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 11 o'clock with Reverend Don Morgan officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery located at 4964 Chloe Road, Pikeville, KY at 2 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be friends.


He was buried at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Duane Young Goff was born circa 1940. He was the son of George Dock Goff and Elizabeth Young. Duane Young Goff died before 2015.

     Henry Goff was born on 12 March 1894 in Raccoon, Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of William M. Goff and Isabelle Ball. Henry Goff married Gracie Johnson in 1918. Henry Goff died on 31 August 1976 in Pike County, Kentucky, at age 82. He was buried at Johnson Memorial Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Gracie Johnson was born on 10 July 1896 in Yeagar, Pike County, Kentucky. As of 1918,her married name was Goff. She married Henry Goff, son of William M. Goff and Isabelle Ball, in 1918. Gracie Johnson died on 13 August 1952 in Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky, at age 56. She was buried at Johnson Memorial Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.

     Roy Goff was born on 29 November 1919 in Yeagar, Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of Henry Goff and Gracie Johnson. Roy Goff married Ethel Madelyn England in 1941. Roy Goff married Sally Layne in 1960. Roy Goff died on 10 May 2011 in Pike County, Kentucky, at age 91. He was buried at Johnson Memorial Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.
