     James Larry Bagwell is the son of James Larry Bagwell and Kathy Elaine Moon. James Larry Bagwell married Michelle Taylor before 2000.

     Stacey Bagwell is the daughter of James Larry Bagwell and Kathy Elaine Moon. Stacey Bagwell married (?) Rice after 1996.

     Aaron Bagwell is the son of James Larry Bagwell and Kathy Elaine Moon.

     (?) Rice married Stacey Bagwell, daughter of James Larry Bagwell and Kathy Elaine Moon, after 1996.

     Arista (?) married Freddie Bagwell, son of James Carroll Bagwell and Nancy Smith, after 1975.

     Jera-Michael Bagwell was born on 22 September 2000 in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was the son of James Larry Bagwell and Michelle Taylor. Jera-Michael Bagwell died on 22 September 2020 in Laurens, South Carolina, at age 20. He was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Laurens, South Carolina.

     Brandon Bagwell is the son of James Larry Bagwell and Michelle Taylor.

     Charles Edward Bagwell was born on 15 December 1958 in Crane County, Texas. He was the son of Charles Alton Bagwell and Connie Marie Hoffman. Charles Edward Bagwell died on 11 January 2013 in Sacramento, Scaramento County, California, at age 54. He was buried at Camellia Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Sacramento, Scaramento County, California.

     Winston Earl Cummings was born on 27 January 1932. He married Hilda Joyce Bagwell, daughter of James Douglas Bagwell and Lorean Barnes, after 1950. Winston Earl Cummings died on 4 January 1995 at age 62. He was buried at Littlefield Memorial Park, Littlefield, Lamb County, Texas.

     Barbara Jacklin Braswell married Charles Alton Bagwell, son of James Douglas Bagwell and Lorean Barnes, on 7 January 1965 at Hobbs, New Mexico.

     Charles W. Wallace married Bonnie Bagwell, daughter of Claude Alton Bagwell and Docia May Littlefield, after 1965.¹

     Peny Jenene Griffin married James Anthony Bagwell, son of Eugene Bagwell and Jean Nell Best, on 18 December 1972 at Lubbock County, Texas.

     Charles Jeffrey Bagwell was born on 5 April 1955 in Alamosa, Alamosa County, Colorado. He was the son of Gordy Luther Bagwell and Ruth Weddington. Charles Jeffrey Bagwell died on 31 March 2020 in Alamosa, Alamosa County, Colorado, at age 64

Charles Jeffrey Bagwell, 64, died at the San Luis Care Center in Alamosa, Colorado on March 31, 2020 after a 30 year battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Charley was born April 5, 1955 in Alamosa, Colorado to Gordy Luther and Ruth Weddington Bagwell. He was a rancher and was a partner in G.L. Bagwell & Sons. He loved music and classic movies. He had many close friends and was assisted by many close friends. He loved going to the cabin along the Brazos River when he was able and loved living at the family ranch in Los Cerritos. He enjoyed trips with Scott Sowards over the years, traveling as far as Tahiti.

He is survived by brothers: Tom Bagwell (Barbara) and Lee Bagwell (Grace) of Manassa, Colorado and sister, Barbara Gay Goddard (Dave) of Castle Rock, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and great-niece, Kristi Bagwell.

At his request, cremation was chosen and no funeral services will be held. His ashes will be scattered at the ranch in Los Cerritos.


He was buried at New Manassa Cemetery, Manassa, Conejos County, Colorado.

     David Weldon Malena married Mary Gyndola Bagwell, daughter of James Oaties Bagwell and Lona Mildred Latham, in 1956.¹

     Dorothy Janet Bagwell was born on 20 September 1932 in Springfield, Robertson County, Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of Floyd Bagwell and Verdie Mary Smith.¹ As of after 1951,her married name was Adams.² Dorothy Janet Bagwell married Harold T. “Jack” Adams after 1951.² Dorothy Janet Bagwell died on 21 January 2021 in Springfield, Robertson County, Tennessee, at age 88

Dorothy Janet Adams, 88, of Orlinda, passed from this life on Thursday January 21, 2021 at NorthCrest Health.

Graveside services were conducted Sunday January 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the Orlinda Methodist Cemetery on Elm Springs Road in Orlinda with Pastor Lance Wamble officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Lackey, Mason Lackey, Jamie Adams, Tyler Sneed, Shane Hand, and John Bartee. There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Adams was born September 20, 1932 in Springfield. She was a homemaker and a member of Orlinda Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Thomas “Jack” Adams, by her parents: Floyd and Veida Smith Bagwell, by her brother: Floyd Bagwell, Jr., by her sister: Velma McKinney, and by her niece: Linda Hand.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter: Jackie Adams and Buddy Sneed of Springfield, by her nieces: Dana Jennings, Terri Watts, and Carol Owens, by her nephews: Jamie Adams, Bill McKinney, and Tommy McKinney, and by special friends: Josh, Erin, Mason, and Peyton Lackey.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Orlinda Baptist Church or to the Orlinda Methodist Cemetery.

     David Brent Bagwell was born on 25 October 1969 in Cleveland County, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of Jerry David Bagwell and Ruth Clippard.¹ David Brent Bagwell married Shannon Smith circa 1995.¹ David Brent Bagwell died on 27 January 2021 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina, at age 51

David Brent Bagwell

David Brent Bagwell, 51, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 27th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Jerry David “Danny” Bagwell and Ruth Clippard Bagwell. Brent was a long-time member and Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Kings Mountain. Brent attended North Carolina State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Education and a Minor in Business Management. While he was at NC State, he was a member of the Wolfpack football team. After his playing career came to an end, he started a career in coaching and became a graduate assistant football coach at NC State, and TCU. He then went on to coach at Newberry College, Virginia Military Institute, and Lenoir-Rhyne University. He also coached football at North Gaston, and Kings Mountain High Schools helping lead North Gaston to the State Championship game in 2007. Always active in sports and his children’s lives, Brent coached his sons and daughter in many sports including baseball, softball, volleyball and basketball for many years. Throughout his life he coached many other young men where he played a vital role in developing them on and off of the field. Brent was employed with Mohawk Industries as Senior Vice President of the Builder/Multifamily division. Brent enjoyed serving the community and did it in many ways including serving on the board at the Kings Mountain YMCA and the Kings Mountain Country Club. Brent was also a leader within his church. One of his greatest honors was being inducted into the Kings Mountain Sports Hall of Fame in 2010. Brent was a wonderful provider for his family and a devoted and loving husband, father, son and brother. His contributions to the community and his family will be missed greatly.
