Fagen.¹ Billy Ray Bagwell died on 17 May 2005 in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Arkadelphia, Clark County, Arkansas.¹

     Mary Louise Bagwell was born on 27 March 1929. She was the daughter of Clarence Lem Bagwell and Maudie E. Fagen. As of 8 November 1947,her married name was Howard Austin. Mary Louise Bagwell married (?) Howard Austin Humphries on 8 November 1947 at Clark County, Arkansas. Mary Louise Bagwell died on 22 September 2009 in Benton, Saline County, Arkansas, at age 80.

     Harry Seymour married Clara Mae Bagwell, daughter of Mitchell Hughes Bagwell and Martha Carolyn Howell, on 21 October 1934 at Deaf Smith County, Texas.

     P.H. Bishop married Tabitha Annette "Nettie" Bagwell, daughter of Leroy Trailor Bagwell and Tabitha Mitchell, on 6 October 1897 at Pike County, Arkansas.

     Melissa Shuffield was also known as Malissa Shuffield. She was born on 11 January 1890.¹ She married Herbert Allison Bagwell, son of Oliver Eugene David Bagwell and Annetta Grace Beers, after 1910. As of after 1910,her married name was Bagwell. Melissa Shuffield died on 14 December 1988 at age 98.¹ She was buried at Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma.¹

     Wilma Grace Bagwell was born on 28 July 1923. She was the daughter of Herbert Allison Bagwell and Melissa Shuffield. As of after 1945,her married name was Cook. Wilma Grace Bagwell married Paul Leon Cook after 1945. Wilma Grace Bagwell died on 25 July 1993 at age 69. She was buried at Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma.

     Nila E. Bagwell was born on 29 April 1926. She was the daughter of Herbert Allison Bagwell and Melissa Shuffield. As of after 1948,her married name was Wansick. Nila E. Bagwell married Frank Wansick after 1948. Nila E. Bagwell died on 15 April 2012 at age 85. She was buried at Oak Hill Memorial Park, McAlester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.

Born in Prescott, Ark., he came here 28 years ago from England, Ark., and was owner of Billy Bagwell's Sunshine Band. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of Eagles Aerie 4208, Hudson, and charter member of Moose Lodge 1903, Land O'Lakes. Survivors include his wife, Katherine E. Rhoades; two sons, Danny and Michael, both of Denver; a daughter, Carman Phul, Denver; two stepsons, Clarence and Bruce Rhoades, both of Hudson; two stepdaughters, Linda Williamson, Odessa, and Cindy Lester, Hudson; a brother, Buck, England; two sisters, Barbara McCarty, England, and Peggy Frank, Alexander, Ark; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

William Franklin "Buck" Bagwell, lifelong resident of England, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2024 peacefully in his sleep at the age of 81. Buck, as everyone knew him, was born on December 27th,1942 to Louis Clayton Bagwell and Mabel Munk Bagwell.
Being a lifelong England resident, Buck held many professions including working at the dirt plant, the cotton plant, and finishing out his working career years at England High School. At England High School, Buck left a lifelong positive impact on many of the students, teachers and faculty that he came into contact with.
He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Cherrie Lynne Kelley, his son Gerald Louis "Buddy" Bagwell, 5 siblings: Robert "Tincey" Bagwell, Barbara Harrison, Billy Joe Bagwell, Gerald Louis "Buddy" Bagwell, and twin sister Wilma "Tootsie" Middleton.
He is survived by a son, Jason Bagwell of St Petersburg, Florida, a sister, Peggy Frank of Alexander, Arkansas, a son-in-law, Jeff Kelley of Bryant,Arkansas, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He married Vada Isabell Bagwell, daughter of Oliver Eugene David Bagwell and Annetta Grace Beers, on 3 October 1931 at Prescott, Nevada County, Arkansas. Thomas Jefferson McDade died on 20 March 1984 in Sacramento, California, at age 81. He was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oroville, Butte County, California.

     Benjamin Allen Bagwell was born on 27 July 1901 in Texas.¹ He was the son of Oscar Alonzo Bagwell and Mary Christine Scott. He served as a Seaman, 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy.¹ Benjamin Allen Bagwell married Hilda E. Davis before 1933. Benjamin Allen Bagwell died on 21 June 1945 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at age 43.¹ He was buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.¹

     Russia Alonzo Bagwell was also known as Rush Alonzo Bagwell. He was born on 21 November 1889 in Lake Creek, Texas.¹ He was the son of Oscar Alonzo Bagwell and Mary Christine Scott. Russia Alonzo Bagwell married Maude Mattocks before 1920.² Russia Alonzo Bagwell died on 11 January 1965 in Silver City, Grant County, New Mexico, at age 75 Rush A. Bagwell, 75, of Silver City, died early Monday at Hillcrest General Hospital. He had been an area resident here for the past 52 years. One of the four oldest living members of Santa Rita Lodge No. 44, AF&AM, and Mr. Bagwell was initiated into the Masonic Lodge in 1918. He was master of the lodge in 1922. He had worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation, Chino Mines Division where he was shop foreman, retiring in 1955 after 42 years of service with the company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Bagwell of Silver City; daughter, Mrs. Richard Nolan of Silver City; son, Rush A. Bagwell of Denver; four grandsons and four sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Curtis Mortuary Chapel, the Rev. Claude Williams, pastor of the First Baptist Church conducting the rites. Ritualistic services were also held by the Santa Rita Lodge of Masons Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.¹ He was buried at Masonic Cemetery, Silver City, Grant County, New Mexico.¹

     Florence E. Bagwell was born in February 1889 in Texas. She was the daughter of Oscar Alonzo Bagwell and Mary Christine Scott. Florence E. Bagwell died after January 1965.

     Ida L. Bagwell was born in August 1891 in Texas. She was the daughter of Oscar Alonzo Bagwell and Mary Christine Scott. As of before 1911,her married name was Keith. Ida L. Bagwell married Samuel Jones Keith before 1911. Ida L. Bagwell died on 30 October 1944 in Jefferson, Texas, at age 53.

Lewis married George Washington Bagwell, son of Furney Orin Bagwell and Parthenia Bayles, on 10 June 1855 at Union County, Louisiana.¹ As of 10 June 1855,her married name was Bagwell. Sarah M. J. Lewis died in 1856 in Louisiana.¹

     Margaret Ann Feazel was born in 1831 in Louisiana. She married George Washington Bagwell, son of Furney Orin Bagwell and Parthenia Bayles, after 1857.¹ As of after 1857,her married name was Bagwell. Margaret Ann Feazel died in 1910.

     Shelby David Bagwell was born in September 1859 in Farmerville, Union Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of George Washington Bagwell and Margaret Ann Feazel. Shelby David Bagwell married Flora Ann (?) before 1888. Shelby David Bagwell died in 1936. He was buried at Bonita Cemetery, Bonita, Morehouse Parish, Louisiana.

     Lucinda Jane Bagwell was born on 20 October 1861 in Union Parish, Louisiana.¹ She was the daughter of George Washington Bagwell and Margaret Ann Feazel. Mary Regnier, 93, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 in Murfreesboro.

She was born on November 14, 1922 in El Dorado, AR, the daughter of the late Dan Bagwell and Dora (Moran) Bagwell.

Mary loved to read and was a wonderful cook. She always shared her wonderful cakes and cookies with her friends and neighbors at the Murfreesboro apartment complex.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Cummings and her second husband, Gene Regnier; two brothers, E.J. Bagwell and Bill Bagwell; and one sister, Zelona Bagwell Finney.

She is survived by her brother, Jesse Bagwell of Murfreesboro; two sister-in-laws, Mary Bagwell of Nashville, and Elenor Regnier Wake of Geneva, IL; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 18, 2016 in Murfreesboro Cemetery in Murfreesboro with Brother Troy Carroll officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 AM to service time at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

     William Calvin Bagwell was born on 26 February 1925 in Delight, Pike County, Arkansas. He was the son of William Daniel Bagwell and Dora Blanche Moran. William Calvin Bagwell married Mary Sue Bridgeman after 1946. William Calvin Bagwell died on 28 March 2016 in Arkansas at age 91
William Calvin Bill Bagwell, a Navy veteran, WWII was born in Delight, Arkansas on February 27, 1925 to Dan and Dora Moran Bagwell. Bill passed away on March 28, 2016. Bill retired from Swepco after 37 years, then worked at Walmart in sporting goods. Bill was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed fishing almost daily, then liked to tell about his days on the water. Bill loved people and always wanted to share a fishing tale. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of Josh Nichols Sunday School class, and in his younger days sang in the choir. Bill was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for over 65 years. He was also a member of Howard County Search and Rescue for many years. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sue Bridgeman Momon Bagwell; four daughters, Andrea Kay (Jim) Lane of Conway, Liz (Dan) McDaniel of Nashville, Diane (Berry) Shewmaker of Nashville, and Cathy Johnson of Nashville; one son, William “Bill” (Becky) Bagwell of Conway; one step-daughter, Martha (Bruce) Momon Rogers of Fort Pierce, Florida; Betty Hile Alexander, the mother of his children of Nashville; one sister, Mary Regnier; and a brother, Jess Bagwell both of Murfreesboro; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends. Bagwell married Flossie Elizabeth Echols on 2 November 1940 at Glenwood, Pike County, Arkansas. Edward J. Bagwell died on 15 September 2013 in Yuba City, Sutter County, California, at age 92

EJ (Slim) Bagwell, 92, of Yuba City, passed quietly into eternity while sleeping on Sunday morning, September, 15, 2013.

He was born in Ben Lomond, Arkansas on December 30, 1920, to William Dan and Dora Blanche Bagwell. He had 5 siblings, Zelona, Jack, Mary, Bill and Clovis. He grew up in Arkansas where he met the love of his life, Flossie Echols. They were married and soon after moved to California to start their life together.

They were blessed with a daughter, Patsy Lou Bagwell, before "Slim" enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served his country as an infantry PFC in the 104th mountain division in Italy where he was wounded before being honorably discharged and awarded the purple heart. He was always proud of the men and women who served this country and was grateful that he was able to be reunited with his family.

Slim and Flossie lived in Gridley before moving to the Yuba/Sutter area. After settling in Yuba City, they had a second daughter, Deborah Bagwell. They enjoyed life in the farming community and lived and worked here for the remainder of their years.

In his younger years, Slim worked in the fields, he was a lumberjack, and later became a forklift driver. He worked in that capacity for Nulaid Farms and Sunsweet for over 30 years. He said he enjoyed his last day on the job as much as his first. He was a man of simple pleasures. He was disciplined, solid, and a great Father through the best and worst of times.

Slim and Flossie enjoyed camping in the Truckee area for many years where they made wonderful friends and many memories. They enjoyed their Moose Camper Club outings and their many trips to the Reno/Tahoe area.

Slim is survived by his daughter, Debbie Grove; and son-in-law, Bill, of Sutter; his sister, Mimi; and brothers, Bill (Mary Sue) and Clovis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack; daughter, Patsy; and wife, Flossie.¹

He was buried at Sierra View Memorial Park, Olivehurst, Yuba County, California.¹

     Aletha May Bagwell was born on 3 April 1890 in Louisiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Jefferson "Jeff" Bagwell and Clarissa Thomas.² Aletha May Bagwell died on 26 December 1904 in Louisiana at age 14.¹ She was buried at Fellowship Cemetery, Dubach, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.¹
