She married George Earle Bagwell, son of Baylis Earl Bagwell and Theresa Adeline Wilson, after 1905. Velma A. Watts died on 2 March 1953 in Jasper, Walker County, Alabama, at age 66. She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Jasper, Walker County, Alabama.

     Thomas McBride Kelley was born on 20 September 1859 in Oconee County, South Carolina. He married Ora J. Bagwell, daughter of Baylis Earl Bagwell and Theresa Adeline Wilson, before 1899. Thomas McBride Kelley died on 1 February 1942 in Oconee County, South Carolina, at age 82 T.M. Kelley had been ordained as a deacon in 1886, at the age of twenty-seven, before being elected a ruling elder in 1894. T.M. was next elected Clerk of Session and served as clerk for the next twenty-seven years. He was buried at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Walhalla, Oconee County, South Carolina.

     LaUna Arnold was born on 1 March 1907 in Texas.¹ As of after 1925,her married name was Bagwell. She married Lawrence Raymond Bagwell, son of George Newton Bagwell and Eliza Templin, after 1925. LaUna Arnold died on 11 February 1995 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 87.¹ She was buried at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.¹

     Charles Marion Holcombe was born on 9 November 1891 in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, Texas. He married Valerie Mary Bagwell, daughter of William Smith Bagwell and Izora Sylvia Lattin, before 1930. Charles Marion Holcombe died on 2 March 1964 in Fort Bend, San Saba County, Texas, at age 72.

     Marston F. Warner was born on 10 July 1918. He married Valerie Mary Bagwell, daughter of William Smith Bagwell and Izora Sylvia Lattin, after 1964. Marston F. Warner died on 14 October 1987 at age 69.

     Opal Louise Bagwell was born on 4 April 1929 in Arkansas.¹ She was the daughter of Wesley Earl Haywood Bagwell and Mary Irene Hammack. As of after 1945,her married name was Bordelon. Opal Louise Bagwell married Raymond Francis Bordelon after 1945. Opal Louise Bagwell died on 25 April 2008 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at age 79
Opal Louise Bagwell Bordelon (Ouija, DeeDee) died on April 25, 2008. She was born April 4, 1929, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the oldest child of Mary and Haywood Bagwell.

She moved to San Antonio with her parents as a toddler. She attended the Alamo Heights public schools but missed her 1946 high school graduation, which was cancelled because of a polio epidemic. She attended Baylor University and graduated from Incarnate Word University. She taught Texas History in the Northeast Independent School District for many years and retired in 1993.

Ouija was predeceased by her husband, Raymond F. Bordelon; her parents, Mary and Haywood Bagwell; and a sister, Mary Jane Fuller. She is survived by many loving family members: sons Raymond F. Bordelon, Jr., and wife Mary, David Bordelon and wife Shelby; daughter Elizabeth Lollar and husband Jerry; sister Linda Kennedy and husband John; grandchildren Shannon and Kyle Lollar; step-grandchildren Christine McLemore and Stephanie Wiater; nephews Charles Kerr, Michael Brown, and Harlan Kennedy; nieces Mary Howard and Elizabeth Zamorano; six great-nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her generosity, giving spirit, dedication to family and love of life. Ouija possessed the gift of seeing joy in everyday events and making little miracles for everyone she touched. Her love knew no bounds.¹
She was buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.¹

     Raymond Francis Bordelon was born on 21 February 1928. He was a Sargaent in the United States Marine Corps. He married Opal Louise Bagwell, daughter of Wesley Earl Haywood Bagwell and Mary Irene Hammack, after 1945. Raymond Francis Bordelon died on 7 March 1989 at age 61. He was buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.

     Ernest Edgar Hassell was born on 19 January 1905 in Oklahoma. He married Roxie Jane Bagwell, daughter of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent, after 1920. Ernest Edgar Hassell died on 20 January 1983 in Alief, Harris County, Texas, at age 78. He was buried at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

     James Cecil Lawrence was born on 21 July 1934 in Harris County, Texas. He was the son of Cecil Lawrence and Versa Bagwell. He served as a Master Sargeant in the US Army during Vietnam. James Cecil Lawrence died on 15 July 1980 at age 45. He was buried at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

     Maye Jo Hassell was born on 2 October 1907 in Oklahoma.¹ As of 2 June 1934,her married name was Bagwell. She married Walter Norman Bagwell, son of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent, on 2 June 1934 at Harris County, Texas. Maye Jo Hassell died on 1 April 1962 in Harris County, Texas, at age 54.¹ She was buried at Alief Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.¹

     Bravo Maria R Gonzalez married Walter Norman Bagwell, son of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent, on 30 May 1980 at Harris County, Texas.

     Marshall Patton Anderson was born on 16 October 1899 in Alabama. He married Margaret Bagwell, daughter of William Wiley Bagwell and Sarah Lela Baker, on 6 October 1925 at Calvary Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Marshall Patton Anderson and Margaret Bagwell lived in 1932 in Oxford, Mississippi. Marshall Patton Anderson died on 3 August 1988 at age 88.

     Willie Lee Erwin was born on 27 September 1913 in Texas. He married Mary Edna Bagwell, daughter of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Rilla Odessa "Dessa" Skinner, after 1930. Willie Lee Erwin died on 10 September 1973 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 59.

She was the daughter of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Francis Nadine Skinner. As of after 1950,her married name was Norris. Francis Louise Bagwell married Robert Lenwood Norris after 1950.

     Robert Lenwood Norris was born on 9 November 1933 in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. He married Francis Louise Bagwell, daughter of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Francis Nadine Skinner, after 1950. Robert Lenwood Norris died on 29 May 2000 in Emory, Rains County, Texas, at age 66.

     Leslie Eugene Bagwell is the son of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Francis Nadine Skinner. Leslie Eugene Bagwell married Nancy Ettie Keene on 26 September 1956 at Harris County, Texas.

     Dorothy Lucile Bagwell is the daughter of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Francis Nadine Skinner. Dorothy Lucile Bagwell married Billy T. Eastup on 2 November 1956 at Hunt County, Texas.

     Thomas Craighead Woods was born on 25 December 1928. He married Willie Irene Bagwell, daughter of Hugh Urban Bagwell and Francis Nadine Skinner, after 1945. Thomas Craighead Woods died on 23 May 2012 at age 83. He was buried at Forest Park Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

     George E. Sherron was born in 1890. He married Linnie Berd Bagwell, daughter of Daniel Miller Bagwell and Sarah Ann Barnes, before 1913. George E. Sherron died in 1963. He was buried at Forest Park Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

     Cecil Lawrence married Versa Bagwell, daughter of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent, before 1934.

     Elsie Bagwell was born on 22 May 1915.¹ She was the daughter of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent. As of after 1930,her married name was Bay. Elsie Bagwell married James Willard Bay after 1930. Elsie Bagwell died on 4 July 2008 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas, at age 93 Elsie Bay passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008. She was born to Mary Lucelle "Rosie" (nee Brent) and James Daniel Bagwell in Lovelady, Texas in Trinity County. She grew up in Alief, Texas and attended the Alief public schools.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Nacogdoches, Texas where she was active in the ladies circles. Elsie served as president of Pilot Club of Nacogdoches, Inc., 1980-1981, where she instituted the Lifeline program with the club. Her husband,Willard Bay, preceded her in death on May 13, 2006.

In 1936, Elsie and Willard established the first Tom¹s Peanut distributorship in Nacogdoches County.

Survivors include her sons, Daniel Willard Bay and wife Gloria, and John Michael Bay of Nacogdoches, Texas; granddaughter, Adrienne Elizabeth Bay of Austin, Texas; nephew and niece Elvin and Dorothy Praytor of Pasadena, Texas; Judy Cook of Diboll, Texas; sister-in-law, Jeanette Bay of Houston, Texas; nephews and nieces, Bob and Annette Payne of Katy, Texas, Bill and Carol Bay of Houston, Texas and many special great nephews and nieces and host of dear friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park with Dr. Bill Gandin, Senior Minister First United Methodist, officiating. Interment will immediately follow.¹ She was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas.¹

     James Willard Bay was born on 4 June 1914. He married Elsie Bagwell, daughter of James Daniel Bagwell and Mary Lucelle E. Brent, after 1930. James Willard Bay died on 13 May 2006 at age 91. He was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas.
