     Estella P. Martin was also known as Nettie Estella Martin. She was born on 12 August 1910 in Memphis, Tennessee.¹ As of after 1925,her married name was Bagwell. She married Harvey Wayland Bagwell, son of William Furney Bagwell and Lorraine Dotton Bills, after 1925. Estella P. Martin died on 4 December 1982 at age 72.¹ She was buried at Citizens Cemetery, Clarendon, Donley County, Texas.¹

     Bobbie Dee "Bob" Bagwell was born on 31 January 1929 in Clarendon, Donley County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Harvey Wayland Bagwell and Estella P. Martin. He served in the United States Air Force. Bobbie Dee "Bob" Bagwell married Jessie M. Green on 2 July 1950. Bobbie Dee "Bob" Bagwell died on 30 June 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas, at age 81.

Bob Bagwell, 81, of Wichita Falls went to be with his heavenly Father Wednesday June 30, 2010 at a local hospital. Services have been scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 3, 2010 at Western Hills Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Tony Moye. Interment with military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Bob was born January 31, 1929 in Clarendon, TX to Wade and Estella Martin Bagwell. He married Jessie M. Green on July 2, 1950 in Clarendon, TX and together they raised two daughters and a son. He served our country in the United States Air Force as a radio operator on the B-17 and B-36 as well as a pilot on the B-25 during tours in Japan and Korea. After the Korean War he served in a classified position in Washington D.C. Bob retired in 1991 as a District Manager from McLane Wholesale Grocery Company after many years service. He loved to bowl, play dominos, especially 42, and when he was younger he loved to play golf. He was a deacon at Western Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Bagwell is preceded in death by his son, Gregory Bruce Bagwell; parents, Wade and Estella Bagwell; sisters, Eva Jo Taylor, and Wanda Nell Richardson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years this Friday, Jessie Bagwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Wes Cox of Weatherford, TX, Lisa and Damon Pickett of Wichita Falls; brothers, Mike Bagwell of Westport, WA, Roy and wife Roxanne Bagwell of Caballo, NM; granddaughters, Elisha Cox of Dallas, TX, Mandi and husband Robbie Freeman of Wichita Falls, and Amber Pickett of Wichita Falls.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday July 2, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Bobbie Dee Bagwell in 2010, her daughter, Sharon Marie Cox, her son: Gregory Bruce Bagwell, 5 brothers and 3 sisters, and her parents. Hadley Bohanon was born about 1835 somewhere in North Carolina, possibly in Surry County or surrounding area.
His full name is most likely Simon Hadley Bohanon, either an assumed name or named after Simon Hadley(1766-1803) a Quaker of Surry County NC. He Served as a Private in Harlan County Battalion, Company B. This Battalion was on active duty from 13 October 1862 to 13 January 1863. The Harlan County Battalion fought the Tenth Kentucky Mounted Rifles CSA, fellow kentuckyians, in the First Battle of Whitesburg, Letcher County Kentucky 13 December 1862.
Enlisted as a Private 1 April 1865 in Three Forks Battalion Regiment Ky, Company H, mustered out 17 July 1865 in Irvine Ky. The Three Forks Battalion fought the 13th Kentucky Calvery CSA in the Second Battle of Whitesburg, Letcher County Kentucky 16 April 1865. Hadley Bohanon died in December 1882 in Letcher County, Kentucky, Served as a Private in Harlan County Battalion, Company B. This Battalion was on active duty from 13 October 1862 to 13 January 1863. Bobby Scott Bagwell, 24, son of Bert Bagwell and wife, Mrs. Blanche Hackler Bagwell, 308 Front St., Galax, died in a local hospital about 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 1961, as the result of injuries suffered in a single-vehicle traffic accident in Galax about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
The deceased young man was the driver and sole occupant of an automobile which failed to maneuver the intersection of North Main St. and Stuart Dr., as it moved northward on Main into the intersection and crashed into a stone wall on the north side of Stuart Dr., according to Police Officer Cecil Hodge.
The car was demolished by the impact. The victim, according to Officer Hodge, suffered a crushed chest and other injuries in the mishap. He is survived, in addition to his parents, by one sister, Mrs. Reta Clarice Smith, Galax; two brothers, H. A. Bagwell and Charles Bagwell, both of Galax; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Hackler, RFD 2, Galax; and his paternal grandfather, H. A. Bagwell, Independence.
He was born in Grubb's Chapel community, near Bridle Creek, October 23, 1936. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for some time, and was employed at the time of his death as a truck driver for Combs & McKnight, of Galax, lumber dealers.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at Grubb's Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Fred Jennings, pastor of the church, the Rev. Brice Barton, and the Rev. Robert S. Dendy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Galax.
Interment was in the church cemetery, where military rites were conducted by Galax Post No. 7568, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Blue Ridge Post No. 145, American Legion.
The body was removed at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, to the residence in Galax, and was placed in the church one hour before the services.
Pallbearers were Gene McKnight, Arthur Lundy, James Sizemore, Reese Spurlin, Joe Anderson, Arnold Hawks, E. W. Cockerham and Noah Felts.¹
He was buried at Grubb's Chapel Cemetery, Fox, Grayson County, Virginia.¹
