     Eula M. Bagwell was also known as Lula Bagwell. She was born on 14 December 1894 in Georgia. She was the daughter of Thomas C. Bagwell and Laura Delia Pierce. Eula M. Bagwell died on 6 June 1910 at age 15 of tuberculosis. She was buried at Alta Vista Cemetery, Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.

     Thomas Milton Bagwell was born on 20 October 1895 in Bartow County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Milton Bagwell and Ada Jane Vaughan. He served in (Georgia, Wagoner) 22nd Infantry Regiment, United States Infantry during World War I.

In the early morning of 6 April 1917, just moments after the declaration of war against Germany, the regiment boarded Coast Guard cutters and seized German owned freighters, passenger ships and shipping terminals along the Hudson River in Hoboken, New Jersey and in New York Harbor. Theirs was the first American military action to be taken in World War I. The docks and piers seized in Hoboken were the basis of the New York Port of Embarkation from where tens of thousands of troops would depart to France, with the German cruise ships serving as troop transports.

The regiment was the largest organized combat-ready Army presence in New York City during the war where it was engaged in homeland protection duties: guarding tunnels, bridges, rail lines and other important transportation infrastructure that moved troops and material for the war to the city and port. One battalion was also posted to Washington, D.C. as the primary Army presence in that city, where they also protected vital transportation and military infrastructure. Thomas Milton Bagwell married Louella Willis on 11 February 1917. Thomas Milton Bagwell died on 2 May 1962 in Bartow County, Georgia, at age 66.¹ He was buried at Pine Log Cemetery, Bartow County, Georgia.¹

     Lucile L. Bagwell was born on 28 May 1899 in Bartow County, Georgia. She was the daughter of John Milton Bagwell and Ada Jane Vaughan. As of 1913,her married name was Evans. Lucile L. Bagwell married Culman Leroy Evans in 1913. Lucile L. Bagwell died in November 1979 in Georgia at age 80.

     George M. Bagwell was born in 1902 in Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Milton Bagwell and Ada Jane Vaughan. George M. Bagwell married Jessie Gertrude Sullivan on 21 December 1932 at Bartow County, Georgia. George M. Bagwell died in 1939.¹ He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia.¹

Bagwell died on 17 February 1983 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.¹ He was buried on 19 February 1983 at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.¹

     Bertie A. Bagwell was also known as Berta Bagwell. She was born on 8 March 1908 in Bartow County, Georgia. She was the daughter of John Milton Bagwell and Ada Jane Vaughan. As of 1926,her married name was Shinall. Bertie A. Bagwell married Horace Ambry Shinall in 1926. Bertie A. Bagwell died on 14 January 1995 in Georgia at age 86. She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia.

     Amanda Bagwell is the daughter of John Milton Bagwell and Ada Jane Vaughan.
