     Judith Bagwell was born on 28 August 1931 in Graves County, Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Ewing Bagwell and Mary Cleo Thurmond.¹ Judith Bagwell died on 4 February 2022 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky, at age 90.² She was buried at Burnetts Chapel Cemetery, Graves County, Kentucky.²

     Pierce Hall Bagwell was born on 4 February 1946.¹ He was the son of Ralph Ewing Bagwell and Mary Cleo Thurmond.¹ Pierce Hall Bagwell died on 10 January 1949 in Mayfield, Kentucky, at age 2.¹ He was buried at Burnetts Chapel Cemetery, Graves County, Kentucky.¹

     Dewey Dwayne Bagwell was born on 1 January 1940 in Liberty, Liberty County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Dewey Delais Bagwell and Eura Lee Hickman. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp from 1958 until 1961 during the Vietnam Era, where he went on to receive the Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge.¹ Dewey Dwayne Bagwell married Phyllis Prescott before 1961. Dewey Dwayne Bagwell married Donna J circa 1973.¹ Dewey Dwayne Bagwell died on 3 June 2015 in Orange, Orange County, Texas, at age 75 Dewey Dwayne Bagwell, age 75 of Orange, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at his residence.

Born on January 1, 1940 in Liberty, Texas to his parents, Dewey Deloise and Eura Lee (Hickman) Bagwell, he lived in the Orange area for the last 43 years.

Dewey worked for over 30 years as a Lab Technician at the Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur and he was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp from 1958 until 1961 during the Vietnam Era, where he went on to receive the Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge.

Dewey was a simple man who worked hard. He enjoyed building things by way of carpentry, such as bird houses and swing sets for his family. He also enjoyed working in his yard and listening to his daughter Victoria sing.

Dewey is preceded in death by his mother, his father and his son, Steven C. Bagwell.

Those who will most treasure his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Donna J. Bagwell of Orange, his daughter, Victoria Bagwell of Orange, his sons, Michael Earl Johnson of Scapposse, Oregon, Charles Bagwell of Portland, Oregon, David Dingler of Kelso, Washington and Michael Carter of Orange, Texas, his sister, Anita Jane Doucet of Hot Springs, Arkansas, his brother, Fred Allen Bagwell and wife, Kathy of San Marcos, Texas, twenty-three grandchildren including Ghonnathan Bagwell, currently enlisted in the United States Army, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Dewey is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside committal service to honor Dewey’s life will be at 1pm Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Mary Williams Cemetery on Oilla Road in the Orangefield community.

Officiating will be Chaplain Robert Pitre with Compassion Hospice in Beaumont. Also present to Honor Dewey’s Military Service will be the Southeast Texas Veterans Service Group.

Arrangements for Cremation have been under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.¹ He was buried at Mary Williams Cemetery, Orangefield, Orange County, Texas.¹

     Steven C. Bagwell died in 1978 in Jefferson County, Texas, head injuries and internal bleeding as a result of a two-car headon collison.¹ He was born in 1961 in San Diego County, California.^1,2 He was the son of Dewey Dwayne Bagwell and Phyllis Prescott.¹ Steven C. Bagwell was buried on 21 August 1978 at Mary Williams Cemetery, Orangefield, Orange County, Texas.²

Fred Allen Bagwell and Patricia Ann Haney were divorced on 29 February 1980 at Jefferson County, Texas. Fred Allen Bagwell married Marsha L. Henry on 12 June 1980 at Hardin County, Texas. Fred Allen Bagwell married Judy S. (?) on 1 March 1985 at Jefferson County, Texas. Fred Allen Bagwell and Judy S. (?) were divorced on 15 September 1986 at Jefferson County, Texas. Fred Allen Bagwell married Kathy M. Cooper on 14 April 1990 at Jefferson County, Texas.

     John Thomas Roberts was born on 10 April 1892 in Atlanta, Cass County, Texas. He married Mattie Bagwell, daughter of Pinkston Valentine Bagwell and Elizabeth Irene Barnes, before 1911. John Thomas Roberts died on 4 February 1961 in Elkhart, Anderson County, Texas, at age 68. He was buried at Garden Of Memories, Elkhart, Anderson County, Texas.

     Clara Mae Parkins was born on 16 April 1933 in Pickens County, South Carolina.¹ As of 20 February 1954,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Beattie Austin Bagwell, son of Joseph Seaborn Bagwell and Jane Inez Cantrell, on 20 February 1954 at Easley, South Carolina.¹ Clara Mae Parkins died on 30 November 2000 at age 67.¹ She was buried on 4 December 2000 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina.¹

     Franklin Luther Bagwell was born on 25 July 1932 in Anderson County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Lewis Jesse Bagwell and Willie Mae Alexander.¹ Franklin Luther Bagwell married Irene Monroe after 1945.¹ Franklin Luther Bagwell died on 2 November 2008 in Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina, at age 76 Franklin Luther Bagwell, 76, of 212 Pickle Hill Road, died Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Lewis J. and Willie Mae Alexander Bagwell, Mr. Bagwell retired from the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Irene Monroe Bagwell of the home; three sons, Jimmy Bagwell and wife, Judy, Alvin Bagwell and wife, Linda, and Danny Bagwell and wife, Elaine, all of Pickens; a sister, Catherine B. Hamby and huband, John, of Columbia; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bagwell was predeceased by two brothers, Jessee Bagwell and David Youngblood, by three sisters, Emma Nichols, Pauline Bagwell and Alma, and a great-grandson, Jeremy Felton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, with Rev. Tim Lee and Rev. Mike Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Irene Monroe Bagwell, 91, wife of the late Franklin Bagwell, passed away on December 21, 2021.

Born in Pickens County she was the daughter of the late John and Essie Allen Monroe.

She attended Calvary Baptist Church, loved to crochet, and was a "maw maw" to everyone.

She is survived by her sons Jimmy Bagwell (Judy) of Pickens, James A. Bagwell (Linda) of Pickens, Daniel L. Bagwell (Ellaine) also of Pickens; sisters, Mary Whitmire of Belton, Rachel Sheriff of Easley, Jennette Hartsell of Central; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Franklin; brother Lewis Monroe; sister, Martha Ferguson; a great - grandson; and a great – granddaughter.

Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.

Albert Lee Bagwell Sr. died on 13 November 1997 in Stanly County, North Carolina, at age 91.¹ He was buried at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina.¹

     Hattie Bagwell was born in 1901 in South Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Elbert Bagwell and Elmetta Whitley. As of after 1915,her married name was Bauntine. Hattie Bagwell married (?) Bauntine after 1915. Hattie Bagwell died on 23 February 1924 in Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina.¹ She was buried on 24 February 1924 at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina.¹

     Jessie Lou Smith was born on 4 May 1913 in Montgomery County, North Carolina.¹ As of 2 February 1929,her married name was Bagwell. She married Albert Lee Bagwell Sr., son of Elbert Bagwell and Elmetta Whitley, on 2 February 1929 at Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Jessie Lou Smith died on 15 February 2000 at age 86 ALBEMARLE —Jessie Lou Smith Bagwell, 86, 1436 Riley St., died Tuesday (Feb.
15, 2000) at Stanly Manor.

Born May 4, 1913, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Bagwell was a daughter of the
late Dexter and Ada Hall Smith. She had retired from American and Efird Mills,
where she was a winder and spinner. She was a member of Lane’s Chapel Methodist
Church.

Her husband, Albert Lee Bagwell, preceded her in death, as did sons Albert
Lee Bagwell Jr., Jimmy Dwayne Bagwell and Roy Lee Bagwell.

Survivors include sons Harold Dean Bagwell and Robert Dexter “Tip” Bagwell,
both of Albemarle; daughters Gloria Elmetta “Patsy” Bagwell and Deborah “
Debbie” Hamilton, both of Albemarle; sister Myrtle Smith Ridge, Albemarle; 13
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, HartsellFuneral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel,
conducted by the Rev. Rob Roberts and the Rev. Nathan Fox. Burial, Canton
Baptist Church cemetery.

Harold Dean Bagwell died on 2 August 2013 in Rowan County, North Carolina, at age 78 Harold Dean Bagwell, 78, of New London, NC passed away Friday August 2, 2013 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

His funeral service will be 11 AM Monday August 5, 2013 at West Albemarle Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Richardson and Rev. Adam Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 7 to 9 PM on Sunday evening.
