Mrs. Bagwell was born in Pickens County on September 25, 1930 to the late William Roy Green and Rebecca Gerue Brown Green. She was the oldest member of her immediate family, representing five generations, and was a member of United Wesleyan Church.
Mrs. Bagwell is survived by a daughter; Martha Bagwell Heape and her husband George; a brother; Donnie Ray Green and his wife Elaine; and five sisters; Catherine Davidson and her husband Cohen; Ethel Rochester and her husband Jerry; Jenny Clayton and her husband Joe; Starlena Owens; and Robin Holcombe and her husband Gary. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Alicia Rouse and her husband Alan and G. Edward Heape and his wife Melissa; and five great-grandchildren; Karley and Gunner Rouse and Hannah, Savannah, and Austin Heape.
In addition to her loving husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Charlie Green.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bagwell was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Bagwell; a daughter, Bonnie Jean Bagwell; eight brothers and two sisters.
He had a propensity for gardening, a strong love for Nascar, but most of all, he loved God and his family .
