Debra is survived by her husband: Phillip Bagwell; two sons: Jarrod Bagwell and Chad (Kiliegh) Bagwell; a daughter: Telisha (Jason) White all of Arab; grandchildren: Grant, Jordan, Chase, Ayden, Karleigh, Dillan, Johnny Mack and Helen Gina-Grace; adopted Granddaughter, Rosie; a sister: Bettye (Larry) Dyar of Arab; a niece: Gina (Chris) Hall of Arab; a nephew: Brandon (Teresa) Dyar of Madison, several other nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, other family members and many dear friends; she was preceded in death by her parents: George and Loree Smith, two brothers: Larry Buel Smith and Joel Wayne Smith and a niece: Tandy Dyar Yancey.
Funeral Service will be Sunday Sept. 16, 2018, at 3 PM at Warrior Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Arthur Feemster, Brother Daryl Ross, officiating and graveside committal by Brother Brandon Dyar. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Grant Bagwell, Chase Bagwell, Jordan Mitchell, Ayden Mitchell, Hunter Hall, Brandon Dyar, Jason White and Don Malone.
Visitation will be from Sat. Sept. 15, 2018, from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel; she will also Lie-In-State at the Church on the day of the Service from 2-3 PM.

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross with Combat "V" to Staff Sergeant Roy B. Bagwell, United States Air Force, for heroism while participating in aerial flight as an HH-53 aerial Photographer in Southeast Asia on 12 December 1970. On that date, Sergeant Bagwell flew an extremely hazardous mission on which an American pilot downed deep within hostile territory was successfully recovered. Although constantly exposed to intense and accurate ground fire, Sergeant Bagwell silhouetted himself in the open doorway of the helicopter in order to take motion pictures of the entire recovery mission. The outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Sergeant Bagwell reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force. He was buried at Arizonia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marana, Pima County, Arizona.
