She married Maxie Don "Max" Bagwell, son of Alvin Leonard Bagwell and Bessie Loraine Livingston, on 3 August 1973 at Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas. Helen Norris died on 8 January 2000 at age 63. She was buried at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.

     Jackie Davis was also known as Jacquelyn Davis. She was born in October 1931. As of 1 July 1949,her married name was Bagwell.      Lucille Bagwell was born on 7 September 1897 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of Nicholas Oscar Bagwell and Laura Carter.¹ Lucille Bagwell died on 10 April 1924 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 26.¹ She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.¹

     Eugene Helton Bagwell was born on 17 May 1920 in New Hope, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Oscar Bagwell and Pauline Deere. Eugene Helton Bagwell married Ruby Naab on 20 June 1954. Eugene Helton Bagwell died on 4 March 2006 in Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, at age 85.¹ He was buried at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens, Denison, Crawford County, Iowa.¹

     Ruby Naab was born on 2 March 1927 in Denison, Iowa.¹ As of 20 June 1954,her married name was Bagwell. She married Eugene Helton Bagwell, son of Nicholas Oscar Bagwell and Pauline Deere, on 20 June 1954. Ruby Naab died on 19 December 2009 at age 82
Ruby Bagwell was born in Denison, Iowa, March 2, 1927, the daughter of Charles and Sophia Naab. She died December 19, 2009, at the Applewood Living Center in Longmont, Colorado, at the age of eighty-two.

On June 20, 1954, Ruby was united in marriage to Eugene Bagwell. The couple made their home in Denison where Gene worked for the Denison Community School System. The couple enjoyed Arizona winters after retiring in 1988 before settling there in 2003. Before Gene's death in 2006, the couple moved to Longmont, Colorado, where Ruby continued to live. She was a second grade school teacher in Vail, Iowa, for 40 years.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; and one sister, Donna. Survivors include: one son, John and his wife, Janis; three granddaughters: Jenny and her husband, Ben and their children, Logan and Micaela; Jamie and her husband, Richard; and Jacque and her husband, James; one sister, Linda and her husband, Bill; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison, Iowa. Deacon Jon Jacobsen officiated the service and inurnment at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. Musical selections included "How Great Thou Art," "Beautiful Savior" and "Amazing Grace."¹

She was buried at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens, Denison, Crawford County, Iowa.²

     John Bagwell is the son of Eugene Helton Bagwell and Ruby Naab.

     Rose May "Ruby" Bagwell is the daughter of William Washington Bagwell and Mary Etta Deweese.

     Delores Fern Bagwell was born on 10 October 1928 in Leavenwoth, Leavenwoth County, Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of William Washington Bagwell and Mary Etta Deweese. As of 21 September 1951,her married name was Tieman.¹ Delores Fern Bagwell married William Charles Tieman Sr. on 21 September 1951 at St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Missouri.¹ Delores Fern Bagwell died on 26 August 2009 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, at age 80.¹

     Charles Bagwell is the son of William Washington Bagwell and Mary Etta Deweese.

     Agnes C. (?) was born in 1864. As of before 1880,her married name was Bagwell. She married Samuel Reece Bagwell, son of Hiram Burton Bagwell and Mary Calloway Hash, before 1880. Agnes C. (?) died in 1945. She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.

     Infant Bagwell was born on 19 January 1871. He was the son of Hiram Burton Bagwell and Mary Calloway Hash. Infant Bagwell died on 28 January 1871. He was buried at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Pauline, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹

     Joanne (?) married Benjamin Paul Bagwell, son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, circa 1960.

     Imogean Kelly was born on 30 March 1936 in Alabama. As of July 1957,her married name was Bagwell. She married Kenneth Ned Bagwell, son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, in July 1957 at Houston County, Alabama. Imogean Kelly died on 26 February 2014 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 77. She was buried on 1 March 2024 at Memory Hill Cemetery, Dothan, Houston County, Alabama.

     Paige Bagwell is the daughter of Benjamin Paul Bagwell and Joanne (?) Paige Bagwell married Phillip Berry after 1980.

     Ralph Bagwell was born on 13 September 1929. He was the son of Middleton Marchman Bagwell and Lela Speigner. Ralph Bagwell married Rose Mary Rogers after 1945. Ralph Bagwell died on 27 September 1987 in Headland, Henry County, Alabama, at age 58. He was buried at Headland Methodist Cemetery, Headland, Henry County, Alabama.

     Rose Mary Rogers was born on 12 February 1923 in Headland, Henry County, Alabama. As of after 1945,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ralph Bagwell, son of Middleton Marchman Bagwell and Lela Speigner, after 1945. Rose Mary Rogers died on 5 April 2011 in Alabama at age 88. She was buried at Headland Methodist Cemetery, Headland, Henry County, Alabama.

     Harry Franklin Bagwell II is the son of James Frank Bagwell and Lucille McCrary. Harry Franklin Bagwell II married Carolyn (?) after 1978.

     Lucille Elisabeth Bagwell is the daughter of James Frank Bagwell and Lucille McCrary. Lucille Elisabeth Bagwell married Wesley Bishop after 1978.

     Charles Everett married Betty Sue Bagwell, daughter of Harry Frank Bagwell and Sally Grace Buice, after 1970.

     Floyd Donald Bagwell was born on 10 June 1932 in Summit County, Ohio. He was the son of Adrian Leroy Bagwell and Evie Thompson. Floyd Donald Bagwell married Nancy Lee Clark on 1 October 1960. Floyd Donald Bagwell died on 9 September 2022 in Portage Lakes, Ohio, at age 90


Floyd Bagwell, 90, passed away on September 9, 2022. He was born in Akron on June 1, 1932, to the late Adrian “Bud” and Evie Bagwell and lived his entire life in the Portage Lakes. After graduating from Coventry High School, Floyd worked for Firestone Tire & Rubber. Then with the prospect of being drafted, he joined the Navy, figuring he was less likely to get shot at. Upon his return home, Floyd used his GI Bill to attend Hower Trade School and became an apprentice machinist, working many years for Mechanical Mold before forming a partnership in Norton Tool Grinding. Floyd retired from the Machine Design Department of Goodyear with 24 years of service.

With dignity and his wry sense of humor, Don fought a 15-year battle with Dementia. He never let dementia stop him as he and Nancy continued to travel and enjoy life. He would even spend time with his buddies at the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club where was a long-time member. Don has finally earned his peace and can now remember all his quirky sayings and one-liners like, “6 and 7/8’s” or “Fine as frog hair”.

Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and David. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Nancy (nee Clark); son, Harry; daughter, Donna; grandsons, David and Andrew; brothers-in-law, Larry, Jeff, and George Clark; sister-in-law, Janet Bagwell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews, whom all thought Uncle Don was a cool dude.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to caregivers, Henry and Penny of Comfort Keepers for their love and support in caring for Floyd.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.      Nancy Lee Clark married Floyd Donald Bagwell, son of Adrian Leroy Bagwell and Evie Thompson, on 1 October 1960.

     Richard Eugene Bagwell was born on 25 May 1936 in Akron, Ohio. He was the son of Adrian Leroy Bagwell and Evie Thompson. He served as a Private First Class in the US Army. Richard Eugene Bagwell married Janet Sue Clark on 29 September 1962 at Summitt County, Ohio. Richard Eugene Bagwell died on 29 January 2016 at age 79
Richard Bagwell, 79, went home to be with the Lord January 29, 2016. Richard was born May 25, 1936 in Akron to the late Adrian and Evie Bagwell.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired with over 40 years of service as a meat cutter with the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Company. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and Barberton Masonic Lodge #750 and was an avid collector of antique engines.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, David. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet; sons, Richard and Timothy Bagwell; granddaughters, Tina (Ray) Colegrove and Beth Bagwell; four great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
