     Rose Mary Rogers was born on 12 February 1923 in Headland, Henry County, Alabama. As of after 1945,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ralph Bagwell, son of Middleton Marchman Bagwell and Lela Speigner, after 1945. Rose Mary Rogers died on 5 April 2011 in Alabama at age 88. She was buried at Headland Methodist Cemetery, Headland, Henry County, Alabama.

     Charles Everett married Betty Sue Bagwell, daughter of Harry Frank Bagwell and Sally Grace Buice, after 1970.

     Floyd Donald Bagwell was born on 10 June 1932 in Summit County, Ohio. He was the son of Adrian Leroy Bagwell and Evie Thompson. Floyd Donald Bagwell married Nancy Lee Clark on 1 October 1960. Floyd Donald Bagwell died on 9 September 2022 in Portage Lakes, Ohio, at age 90


Floyd Bagwell, 90, passed away on September 9, 2022. He was born in Akron on June 1, 1932, to the late Adrian “Bud” and Evie Bagwell and lived his entire life in the Portage Lakes. After graduating from Coventry High School, Floyd worked for Firestone Tire & Rubber. Then with the prospect of being drafted, he joined the Navy, figuring he was less likely to get shot at. Upon his return home, Floyd used his GI Bill to attend Hower Trade School and became an apprentice machinist, working many years for Mechanical Mold before forming a partnership in Norton Tool Grinding. Floyd retired from the Machine Design Department of Goodyear with 24 years of service.

With dignity and his wry sense of humor, Don fought a 15-year battle with Dementia. He never let dementia stop him as he and Nancy continued to travel and enjoy life. He would even spend time with his buddies at the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club where was a long-time member. Don has finally earned his peace and can now remember all his quirky sayings and one-liners like, “6 and 7/8’s” or “Fine as frog hair”.

Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and David. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Nancy (nee Clark); son, Harry; daughter, Donna; grandsons, David and Andrew; brothers-in-law, Larry, Jeff, and George Clark; sister-in-law, Janet Bagwell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews, whom all thought Uncle Don was a cool dude.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to caregivers, Henry and Penny of Comfort Keepers for their love and support in caring for Floyd.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.      Richard Eugene Bagwell was born on 25 May 1936 in Akron, Ohio. He was the son of Adrian Leroy Bagwell and Evie Thompson. He served as a Private First Class in the US Army. Richard Eugene Bagwell married Janet Sue Clark on 29 September 1962 at Summitt County, Ohio. Richard Eugene Bagwell died on 29 January 2016 at age 79
Richard Bagwell, 79, went home to be with the Lord January 29, 2016. Richard was born May 25, 1936 in Akron to the late Adrian and Evie Bagwell.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired with over 40 years of service as a meat cutter with the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Company. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and Barberton Masonic Lodge #750 and was an avid collector of antique engines.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, David. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet; sons, Richard and Timothy Bagwell; granddaughters, Tina (Ray) Colegrove and Beth Bagwell; four great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

     Sarah E. Mead was born in October 1864 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Lewis. As of circa 1889,her married name was Bagwell. Sarah E. Mead married William F. Bagwell, son of Aaron Bagwell and Roseline (?), circa 1889. As of after 1900,her married name was Holcomb. Sarah E. Mead married W. M. Holcomb after 1900.

     Mary E. Bagwell was born on 13 March 1889 in Arkansas.¹ She was the daughter of William F. Bagwell and Sarah E. Mead.¹ As of circa 1906,her married name was Miles. Mary E. Bagwell married Luther Miles circa 1906. Mary E. Bagwell died on 15 July 1966 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 77.¹ She was buried at Holly Springs Cemetery, Harrisburg, Poinsett County, Arkansas.¹

     Elizabeth Bagwell was also known as Mary Elizabeth Bagwell. She was born in February 1892 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of William F. Bagwell and Sarah E. Mead. As of between 1906 and 1908,her married name was Miles. Elizabeth Bagwell married Luther Miles between 1906 and 1908 at Arkansas. Elizabeth Bagwell died on 6 March 1966 in Chicago, Illinois, at age 74.
