     Martha E. Robbs was also known as Bessie Robbs. She was born on 13 September 1893. As of before 1930,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joseph Sayer Bagwell, son of Perry T. Bagwell and Millie Thornton, before 1930. Martha E. Robbs died on 27 April 1993 at age 99.

     Joe Thompson Bagwell was born on 12 August 1930 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Sayer Bagwell and Martha E. Robbs. He enlisted in the US Army on 7 December 1951 and was a Private 2nd Class during the Korean War and was released on 4 Jun 1952. Joe Thompson Bagwell died on 15 November 2002 at age 72. He was buried at Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     Hoyle Edwin Bagwell was born on 13 December 1918 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Sayer Bagwell and Martha E. Robbs. Hoyle Edwin Bagwell died on 29 October 1991 at age 72. He was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Mooresboro, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     Hester McCombs was born circa 1894 in North Carolina. As of before 1918,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joseph Sayer Bagwell, son of Perry T. Bagwell and Millie Thornton, before 1918. Hester McCombs died on 20 December 1926 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. She was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Mooresboro, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     Hazelene Bagwell was also known as Hazel Bagwell. She was born on 25 September 1921. She was the daughter of Joseph Sayer Bagwell and Hester McCombs. As of after 1940,her married name was Davis. Hazelene Bagwell married Charles O. Davis after 1940. Hazelene Bagwell died on 16 August 2009 at age 87

Hazel Bagwell Davis, 87, formerly of 141 Creekstone Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at Brookview Healthcare.

Born in Rutherford County, she was the widow of Charles O. Davis and daughter of the late Joe Bagwell and Hester McCombs Bagwell. Mrs. Davis was retired from Timken and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Lee Davis and wife, Faye, and Jackie B. Davis, both of Gaffney; a half sister, Daisy Allen of New Mexico; nine grandchildren, Beverly Davis Blanton and husband, Darby, Frank Davis Jr., Kevin Charles Davis, Lori Stanford and husband, Robbie, Tracy Pennington, Courtney Ramsey and husband, Boss, Davis Dickson, Roger Davis Jr. and Shelia R. Davis; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Davis Dickson; two sons, Charles Richard Davis and Roger Joe Davis; three brothers, Hoyle Edward Bagwell, Ray Junior Bagwell and Joe Bagwell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 1-2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Jackson and Clifford Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Frank Davis Jr., Kevin Davis, Darby Blanton, Boss Ramsey, Davis Dickson and Robbie Stanford.

     Ray Junior Bagwell was also known as Raymond Bagwell. He was born on 5 July 1924 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Sayer Bagwell and Hester McCombs. He was in the US Navy veteran during World War II. Ray Junior Bagwell married Jeanette Ballew after 1945. Ray Junior Bagwell lived in 1991 in Icard, North Carolina. He died on 15 June 2004 at age 79. He was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Mooresboro, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     Jeanette Ballew married Ray Junior Bagwell, son of Joseph Sayer Bagwell and Hester McCombs, after 1945.

     Catherine Inez Bagwell was also known as Cathy Bagwell. She was born on 15 February 1958 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia. She was the daughter of William "Bill" Bagwell and Susie Catherine Sullivan. As of before 1986,her married name was Skinner. Catherine Inez Bagwell married (?) Skinner before 1986. Catherine Inez Bagwell died on 11 August 2020 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia, at age 62

Cathy Inez Bagwell, age 62, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

Cathy was born in Carrollton, Georgia on February 15, 1958, the daughter of Susie Catherine Sullivan Bagwell and the late William “Bill” Bagwell, Jr. She was a graduate of Mt. Zion High School Class of 76, manager of Bagwell Plaza Apartments and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her mother, Susie Catherine Bagwell of Carrollton; son, Joshua Brock Skinner (Lindsay Cagle) of Carrollton; granddaughter, Mary-Katheryn Elizabeth Skinner; step-daughter, Samantha Large, of Columbus, GA; as well as her best friends, Wanda McDowell and Lucille Swint both of Carrollton. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Bagwell and her brother, Doug Bagwell.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be held Saturday. August 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hearn, Rev. Kenneth Rooks and Rev. Joy Smith Griffin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Larry McKenzie, David Gentry, Eddie Wright, Gordon Nelson, Louis Rodriquez and William Jenkins.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Sullivan officiating.

She was buried at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia.

Carol Vaughn Bagwell, 77, widow of Belton Lee Bagwell, of Simpsonville, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016.
Mrs. Bagwell was born April 25, 1939 in Simpsonville to the late General and Madeline Wood Vaughn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and Grams.
Surviving, are three children, Sandra Hatcher (Acey), Sarah Jane Ashmore, and Ricky Bagwell (Vicky); eight grandchildren, April Johnson (Wayne), Allison Whelchel (Joe), Bubba Hatcher (Lynn), Gill Kennedy (Randy), Lee Tolley, Chad Hatcher, Chase Hatcher (Kaylan) and Cristin Fulmer (Drew); fourteen great grandchildren, Austin Hatcher (Anna Willis), Kristin Tillotson, Caleb Hatcher, Carson Hatcher, Eric Reid, Sarah Grace Whelchel, Cassidy Johnson, Nathan Tolley, Gaden Tolley, Carol Ann Kennedy, Madeline Kennedy, Reid Synder, Liam Fulmer and Bobby Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Byran Bagwell (Gale), Sherry Bagwell, Sharon Cox (Jimmy), Patty Dismukes (Brian), Angie Chistain (Joey) and a very special niece, Betty Kennedy (Bobby) and two brothers-in-law, Herb Bagwell (Margie) and J.D. Bagwell (Barbara). In addition to her husband and parent, she was predeceased by a step-father, Wilbur Lewis; a brother, Terry Lyndon Vaughn; two sisters-in-law, Betty Rogers (Harold) and Lottie Yest (Bobby) and a very special friend, Nancy Holley.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at Graceland East Cemetery.
