Sandy was born on August 11, 1944 in Elgin and was the only child born to the late Lloyd P. & Margaret ( nee Holtz ) Freeman. Sandy was a lifelong resident of the area, and a 1962 graduate of Dundee Community High School. Sandy was a kind and loving wife, mom, step-mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend. She was an avid lover and collector of pigs. Survivors include her husband of 32 years; Claude E. Bagwell,Jr., her children; Nick ( Molly) Parrucci and Pattie( John )Kokat. Other survivors include her step-children; Robert E. ( Stacey) Bagwell, Kathy Bagwell, Claude's step-children Jim ( Lisa) Meinken and the late Jeff( Sue) Meinken. Her 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. At Sandy's request she will be cremated. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 2:00- 5:00 P.M. There will be a memorial Service at 4:30 P.M. Inurnment will be private.

Besides her children and family, she loved to travel, where her many trips to Harrah's Casino became one of the many highlights of her life where she enjoyed playing the slot machines. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of Easley First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Bagwell is survived by four children: Steve Bagwell (Gwen) of Easley, Richard Bagwell (Donna) of Simpsonville, Barbara Cantrell (Michael) of Seneca, and Mitchell Bagwell (April) of Easley; her six grandchildren: Andy Bagwell (Amber), Angela Walts, Alyssa Bagwell, Christina Del Cotto (Ryan), Brent Bagwell, and Brittney Merck; a sister: Mary Lou Keasler (Carlisle) of Sunset, SC; a brother: Troy Honaker; and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by a son: Tim Bagwell; a grandson: Justin Boatwright; and two brothers: Clem Honaker and L.C. Honaker.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Wednesday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
The family is at their respective homes.
