A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Luther Pratt, minister and Allyn Moseley, elder.

Bob was born on Feb. 5, 1925, to Arbie Isom and Eddie Eveline Bagwell in Bradshaw, Texas. He attended school in Bradshaw and Ovalo, Texas. Bob was in the Army and proudly served his country during World War II in France and Germany.
He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1950. On Nov. 18, 1950, he married Joy Francis Brooks. Together they settled in Robert Lee in 1954, and Bob worked for Union Texas Petroleum for 32 years until retirement in 1988. He spent the rest of his years traveling with his good friend Dorothy Jetton. Bob was a member of the United Methodist Church in Robert Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Joy Bagwell in 1993; his parents; four siblings; and one grandson, Kirk Allen Bagwell. Bob is survived by his sons, Mike Bagwell and wife Christie of San Angelo, Carl Bagwell of Lubbock; his daughters, Nancy Eaker and Karen Sefcik, both of Robert Lee; his grandchildren, Tiffany Kristen Bagwell of Monahans, Shaunna Grantham and husband Austin of Robert Lee, Jeannie Ashley and husband Brett, Cara Sefcik and Jo'el Sefcik, all of San Angelo; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob was born on Feb. 5, 1925, to Arbie Isom and Eddie Eveline Bagwell in Bradshaw, Texas. He attended school in Bradshaw and Ovalo, Texas. Bob was in the Army and proudly served his country during World War II in France and Germany.
He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1950. On Nov. 18, 1950, he married Joy Francis Brooks. Together they settled in Robert Lee in 1954, and Bob worked for Union Texas Petroleum for 32 years until retirement in 1988. He spent the rest of his years traveling with his good friend Dorothy Jetton. Bob was a member of the United Methodist Church in Robert Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Joy Bagwell in 1993; his parents; four siblings; and one grandson, Kirk Allen Bagwell. Nancy Jean Bagwell was born on 12 September 1953.1 She was the daughter of Arzo Robert "Bob" Bagwell and Joy Francis Brooks.1 As of after 1968,her married name was Eaker. Nancy Jean Bagwell married Austin Eaker after 1968. Nancy Jean Bagwell died on 21 September 2013 at age 60 Nancy Jean Eaker, 59, passed away at her residence. She was born on Sept. 12, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas, to A.R. "Bob" Bagwell and Joy Brooks Bagwell. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, in Robert Lee Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Nancy lived most of her youth in Robert Lee. She lived in Odessa, San Angelo, Kilgore, Cleburne, Brady and ended up back in Robert Lee where she spent her final days. Nancy worked as a medical records director in several hospitals for almost 20 years. She enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, boating, jet skiing and fishing. Nancy loved going to the races, whether cars or boats. She also had a lifelong passion for reading anything she could get her hands on. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Joy Bagwell; and her nephew, Kirk Allen Bagwell. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Shaunna Grantham and husband Austin of Robert Lee, Jeannie Ashley and husband Brett of San Angelo; her brothers, Mike Bagwell and wife Cristie of San Angelo, Carl Bagwell of Lubbock; a sister, Karen Sefcik of San Angelo; and her grandchildren, Paeton Wright, Tristan and Addison Grantham and Haleigh and Jase Ashley. Nancy is also survived by her nieces, Cara and Joe'l Sefcik, Tiffany Youngblood and husband Bubba. She also had many great friends.
