He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister and sister, Marjorie E. Sharp; and brother, Thedwell Sanders.
Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Bettie J. (Bagwell) Sanders of McNeil; daughters, Frances (Sanders) Cross of Magnolia and Becky Creed and husband Jerry of Magnolia; grandson, Woody Boreing of Hot Springs; brother, Conrad Sanders and wife Martha of Village; stepgranddaughter, Leslie Creed of Little Rock; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Ed Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Daniel, Denny Foster, Ricky Foster, W.D. Rogers, Junior Sprayberry, and Michael Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Smith and Terry Sprayberry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to College Hill Baptist Church.

Grace was blessed with five beautiful children whom she loved very much and she enjoyed devoting her time to her family. She was a member of the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Lonoke.
Grace is survived by four sons, James Robert (Jean) Bagwell, Michael Earl Bagwell, Rodger Arthur (Sue) Bagwell, Danny Sidney Bagwell; one daughter, Patricia Ann Whitaker; one sister, Alice Reynolds, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.
