     Robert Ellison Lynch Jr. was born on 26 July 1910 in Nelson County, Kentucky. He was the son of Robert Ellison Lynch and Pansy Bennington. Robert Ellison Lynch Jr. married Rebecca Jane Routon on 9 December 1930 at Lucas County, Ohio. He served in the US Navy from from 31 January 1944 to 21 March 1945. Robert Ellison Lynch Jr. married Norma J. (?) before 1990. Robert Ellison Lynch Jr. died on 16 April 1990 in Martin, Marion County, Florida, at age 79.

     Roseanna Lynch was born on 24 May 1912 in Nelson, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Robert Ellison Lynch and Pansy Bennington. Roseanna Lynch died on 23 January 1997 in Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan, at age 84.

     Mary Lucille Bennington was born on 29 August 1919 in Nelson County, Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of William Lee Bennington and Mary Albina Mann.¹ Mary Lucille Bennington died on 29 March 1946 in Lakeland, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 26.¹

     Rebecca Jane Routon was born circa 1909 in Kentucky. As of 9 December 1930,her married name was Lynch. She married Robert Ellison Lynch Jr., son of Robert Ellison Lynch and Pansy Bennington, on 9 December 1930 at Lucas County, Ohio. Rebecca Jane Routon died on 1 July 1975 in Lansing, Michigan.

     Betty Lou Bagwell was born on 20 January 1944 in Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille Neldon. As of 29 March 1984,her married name was Beste. Betty Lou Bagwell married Leo Anthony Beste on 29 March 1984 at Clark County, Nevada. Betty Lou Bagwell died on 20 September 2022 in Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan, at age 78


Betty Lou Bagwell was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on January 20, 1944. She was one of four children born from the union of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille (Neldon) Bagwell. She attended Schaffer High School graduating with the Class of 1964.

She married Leo A. Beste and she was blessed with the birth of a son: Matthew and four stepchildren she loved as her own. The couple built a home in South Rockwood in 1978, and together with her husband and sons they created Beste Grain Farms, farming over 1800 acres. To this day, Leo still farms over 500 acres. Betty first and foremost was a homemaker and cared for the needs of her husband and children. Later in life she took employment at the JC Penny Catalog and the Henry Ford Museum.

Betty and Leo had a very special relationship and they enjoyed travel. Many lifelong memories were made with journeys to all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, Mexico, and Punta Cana. Betty was an avid reader with her favorite subject being Westerns. She also loved to watch Hallmark movies. Betty and Leo were generous with their resources and very proud to have sponsored ten children and their families over the years through the Christian Children Foundation now known as Unbound.

Betty Lou Beste, age 78, of South Rockwood passed away peacefully on Tuesday; September 20, 2022 at Wellspring Lutheran Services. She had been under the care of ProMedica Monroe Hospice. Her passing was preceded by her parents; a brother: Charles Bagwell; and a sister: Gene Smith.

To cherish her memory she leaves her beloved husband: Leo A. Beste of South Rockwood; a son: Matthew (Melanie) Beste; three stepsons: Tony, Tom, and Terry Beste; one stepdaughter: Marianne (Delmont) Chapman; a sister: Mary (David) Matt; twelve grandchildren: Taylor Jane Beste, Clint, Charles, Lee Chapman, Rachel, Aaron, Matthew, Kristen, Ashley, Rayna, Samual, and Ashlyn Beste; and twelve great grandchildren.

Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday; September 22, 2022 at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. She will lie in state from 10:00am until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00am on Friday; September 23, 2022 at Divine Grace Parish, St. Patrick Church; 2996 West Labo Road, Carleton, Michigan 48117. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

     Leo Anthony Beste married Betty Lou Bagwell, daughter of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille Neldon, on 29 March 1984 at Clark County, Nevada.

     Rayma Jean Bagwell was born on 19 February 1936 in Arkansas.¹ She was the daughter of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille Neldon. As of after 1953,her married name was Smith. Rayma Jean Bagwell married Bill Smith after 1953. Rayma Jean Bagwell died on 7 January 2011 in Southgate, Michigan, at age 74.¹ She was buried at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, Wayne County, Michigan.¹

     Bill Smith married Rayma Jean Bagwell, daughter of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille Neldon, after 1953.

     Charles Edward Bagwell was born on 13 November 1937 in Newport Jack, Arkansas. He was the son of Frank Willard Bagwell and Lucille Neldon. Charles Edward Bagwell died on 25 April 1989 in Dearborn, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 51.

     Peter Girard Bagwell is the son of Charles Donald Bagwell.
